Serra e Emirhan

For Emirhan and Serra, a young couple from Istanbul, we designed an event which blended together the true flavor of Fellini’s Dolce Vita … with the touch of glamor that distinguishes these young spouses in whose love different nationalities meet: Turkish, Mexican, French … In short, a true international event.

Their magical set was the beautiful city of Verona, the city of Love par excellence!

Three days of celebrations began with a “Welcome dinner” at the Antico Caffè Dante in one of the most evocative locations in the city: Piazza dei Signori, which for this occasion became the private lounge where this young Turkish couple welcomed their friends.

After dinner, the guests took a short stroll through cobbled streets towards the Arena where they attended a performance of Aida, one of Giuseppe Verdi’s greatest operas in an Amphitheater that is almost 2000 years old… an unforgettable show!

The wedding day was a whirlwind of emotions: The first look of the newlyweds at the sixteenth-century Villa surrounded by the vineyards of Valpolicella that we procured as a home for Emirhan and Serra and all their family and friends …

Then, arriving as a surprise for our Bride and Groom, our couple were chauffeur-driven in an Alvis Ta 21, a truly royal vintage car, to the Venetian Villa that was chosen for the celebrations.

In fact, Villa Rizzardi is the historic Venetian Villa par excellence, surrounded by the splendid Pojega Garden, famous throughout the world for its wonders and worthy of a film set.

When they arrived they were greeted by friends and family…

The ceremony took place in the Arena di Verzura which is a truly unique place for such a romantic moment and then … the party started!

The catering allowed guests to taste the true flavors of Italian cuisine with an aperitif and a truly state-of-the-art dinner and being in Valpolicella there was no shortage of excellent wines from the Azienda Agricola Guerrieri Rizzardi (produced by one of the 13 historic families producing Amarone)

The floral decorations were created by Vesaire, the florists who are friends of the spouses, who came directly from Istanbul to create the decorations for this wedding with a palette of colors that represented the joy and happiness of the couple: salmon, coral, green, ivory, white, all colors blended together with skilful creativity and a vintage touch.

After changes of dress, dances, fireworks and the songs in French that the bride sang for her beloved Emirhan, the reception ended almost at dawn …

The next day we continued the celebrations with a classic chic brunch at the Villa rented exclusively for them for 3 days. We will never forget this vivacious and effervescent couple.
